Tel Aviv
view from Yonies padioSo I have had no time for the past several weeks to update my blog and add the photos from the trip. The rest of Italy is up on facebook.
Israel was wonderful. Saw a lot of friends, and relaxed quite a bit as well.
Writting this from the train station in Berlin.
Quick rundown of what I did in Israel:
July 8- Haggai picked me up at the airport on Tuseday night. Met a lot of his family. Went out for a little and spent the night at his home.
July 9- Spent the after noon at Haggais house. Watched cartoons with his nephew. Eat lunch with his folks. Around 3pm got on the bus to Ashkalon. Arrived in the earlz evening. Went out with Galia.
July 10- Spent the day and night in Ashkalon with Galia. Went to the beach, and to a very cool club on the beach where Galia works.
July 11 - Left Ashkalon in the morning. Met Guy and Roneet in Rashawn. Eat lunch with Guy family then met up with Idan, Matan, and Stephany (all friends from birhtright) in a small arab town whos name I forget. Went to a tiny
village and stayed with Idans friend Gil (who has a beautiful house). Went out Gil and Idan to a club near Tel Aviv.
July 12 - Shabat. Hung out with Gil all day.
July 13 - Got the bus to burb of Tel Aviv and had lunch with Roneet. Went to Yonies house with Guy and Roneet for BBQ. Met a bunch of people that Guy and Yonie will got to med school with.
July 14 - Hung out with Guy and Yonie in the moring. Met up with Roneet and Gil (diffrent Gil, Gil from birthright) later in the day. Haggai picked me up and we hung out for a few hours before he drove me to the airport. Left on the redeye at 11:45 for Germany.
Lots of moving around. Wrote alot in my journal. Got my first jellyfish sting at the beach. Learned a few more words in Hebrew. Good trip.
