Bloody Sunday (UK 2002, 107 min).
A docu-sort-of picture about the UK soldiers rampage on Civil Rights protesters in Derry in 1972. A gripping, grim story of how the remnants of British colonial thinking ended in a slaughter of civilians that lives on, more thanks to the U2 song, than the film. Hopefully this isn't and really shouldn't be the final version of what happened that sunday in Derry. Told in a reasonably down to earth way, adding some Hollywood drama might have bettered the story.

Storytelling (USA 2001, 87 min).
Several independent shortstories put together in one package with revealing life's sadder and reality bites philosophy as a common thread. As relevant today as in 2001 when it wqas released, and surely will be a survivor of years to come since its core is life in general and not bugged down in any specific time collars.. Or something like that. Worth spending 87 minutes of your life to see.
