We are now over half-way through our trip, where does the time go, and have travelled just over 11,000km. The camper is working really well for us, it’s amazing how little you really need (not that I’ll remember that when I’m back home).

Things we should have taken but didn’t:
A small electric oven or hot plate
Lots more English books for Noreen & Calum
More Decaf Tea bags (Derek finally got them in Italy, thanks!)
A kettle that switches off
A bigger table
Higher, more comfortable chairs
A universal sink plug
Electric zapper for files
Better maps

Things we took but shouldn’t:
Sometimes Mad Navwoman but can’t really think of anything

As we have found out everything takes longer than you think, especially the washing as there have been very few washing machines, and when the campsite has one it is usually being used! So we have done a lot of hand washing.

Thanks to everyone who are taking care of our property, checking it is ok, feeding animals or reading our blog, especially those who leave comments it’s good to know you are all still out there. We appreciated it.

Our thoughts are with Les and the family after Bill’s tragic drowning.

Noreen/Brian Good to catch up reading your blog. Sounds like you are really enjoying yourselves. This is something we should all do. Noreen, didn't picture you as a camper person. I thought you were a porter and Concierge type of girl. We are counting down the days before you return. There will be a nice back log of work to catch up on as I have been a bit slack. The weather here is very cold. Although we have had some very nice days over the last week. Days are getting longer so spring is around the corner. Alterations at the house are progressing. The July comepletion date is now but a memory. End of September is more realistic. Bad weather and Council have not helped. Take care and enjoy France. David

Hi from Canada
Hi, love those pics of the gorges of Verdon. We have spent our first weekend at the Calgary Stampede. The final was yesterday. Exciting viewing. Alan and Ryan enjoyed the bull riding, Zara liked the bucking horses and my favourite is the barrel racing. We also watched a dog show, SUPERDOGS and an ice show which starred the olympic winning skaters from Canada. Now we are off to collect our motorhome and commence our tour.
