Greeting from Rome
Arriving in Rome!!!

Again the train stations are very crowded, You realize what a HUB the stations in Europe are.
We arrived at our apt. in the Campo de' Fiori. Our Apt is a 3 bed. two bath.
There are two terraces we have coffee in the morning and snacks at night.
Ofcourse we are surrounded by chruches and the bells are ringing all the time,
I am used to it now.
Are first night we followed Rick Steves Rome night walk That was so great
The fountains at night are a sight.
Day 2 Thrus Sept 24
We rode the double decker bus. I should tell you more time was spent waiting for one
And off to the
collosseum, Palastine Hill and Roman Form. Listing to the stories make you glad
you weren't poor or a animal during the height of the Roman empire.
The history is unbelieveable and the Monuments that were left.
So by the time we get back to the apt. we are very tired. We have our favorite
little snack Fresh bread (from around the corner) cheese, olives, wine and Salami.
Dinners haven't been to exciting in Rome we are very tired.

Day 3 Rome Fri. 25th
Vatican Tour
That is the ultimate!!!!!
So unbelieveable I know I say that about all the sights. We took a tour from a young
Irish girl who could "spin a tail" Very Intertaining.
We are loving Rome and glad we decided on staying this long and could stay
even longer.
We are missing Steph. and ofcourse Dover
Should have one more Bolg
and hopfully pictures.
Till then Love John and Francine
