Well Anth and I have been home for a month now! It's awesome being home but it does feel like our travelling was all a dream now haha! I left pictures from Munich off the campervan blog accidentally and so have added them to this last blog, loved Munich it was such a great city to visit. Also attached are pictures from our 2days in Dublin and 6days in LA. I wasn't as impressed with Dublin as I thought I would be, granted it was rather grey while we were there but the town didn't hold too much appeal for Anth and I so on the second day we did a day trip out of the city which was awesome. I do want to go back and explore more, love the irish accent!
LA was fun, it's just so big though! We stayed in this dodgey 'super8motel' the first 3nights, it was in west hollywood, the strip was about a 30min walk away. Was good doing all the typical tourist sights, seeing the stars on broadway, visiting Melrose ave, Santa Monica beach and Universal studios. I felt like a big kid! The shopping was pretty wicked, we finally treated ourselves to
some new clothes! The last 3nights we stayed at Dan Bs house, he wasn't there the first two nights but his lovely faltmate Jason was, he was a fab host! We were more in the hollywood hills this time, the heat was way more intense where they lived! We walked to Target one day because the buses are sooo unreliable and nearly died. It was like walking in an oven on fan-bake. Wicked. But overall really enjoyed our time there! I look forward to going back and doing a road trip in 2010. Yes that's right, we have already planned the next trip! Though it'll just be for a few weeks, I've done my time living overseas for now!... Last pics...Untill next time! 😊 x
