We have been to Edinburgh (last blog), and last weekend we went to Manchester to celebrates Kims engagement to Manchestian - Dave Crosley! Hi there! Anth and I went to Edinburgh from 23-26 May. We had heard so many great things about it and it definately didn't let us down! We stayed with Kim Filmer and her boyfriend Dave (Thanks soooo much for having us guys)! They live very central so everything was in close walking distance. Not that it's a very big city anyway! Hi all! So, you guys had a mint summer and now its our turn! The weather has been sooo fantastic, strange going out in a singlet and not feeling at all cold, hasn't been like that in too long! I am going to cheat on this blog! Happy New Year everyone!! I can't believe it's 2008 already! Yikes! Xmas was kinda weird for us being away from home! Timmy came up from London to spend it with us. We went out on Christams eve and ate lots of yummy food on Xmas day! (and bucks fizz ;) Was a relaxed day involving eating, drinking and watching Xmas movies on tv! So we made it! We found an apartment in a wee place called 'Stalybridge' aka VEGAS! We are on the 4th floor of an apartment court called 'Regency Court' which sounds flash, and yeah, it's alright;) Not bad! Was supposed to come 'fully furnished' but this term varies from having everything to just having the essential beds, tables etc. We managed to poach some kitchenware off the agent but are now used to toasting bread under the grill, boiling water in a pot and hanging our washing over the stair rails and on the tables. So we arrived in Manchester mid September! Brrr! Our mate Lou let us stay with her in her cute house on 'Bottoms Fold cres'. Anth and I slept on a blow-up mattress in the lounge while Kimmy had a single room! Poor Lou, we only planned to stay for 5-7 days max but ended up staying about 15days! Thanks for having us Lou! We had a few problems finding a place as we had no references, but eventually we found our new home. But Ill save that for the next blog! This is our first 1-2weeks in manchester! [View Full Entry]

We went back to London after Greece. We stayed at Kims mate Marks hostel in central London for a few days (thanks mate). After a 16 hour ferry ride we arrived in Patras, Greece! We had to wait an extra hour or so because the sea was so rough we couldnt dock.. Not the best first impression! Nevertheless the made it to steady ground!
