While bored at our pub in Bled, we decided this was the best possible way to finish off an amazing trip.

Favorite City:
S - Budapest
M - Amsterdam

Favorite Food/Meal:
S - whole Sea Bream in Croatia
M - grilled turkey with gnocchi in Eger

Favorite Beer:
S - Zlaty Bazant
M - Birter

Favorite Wine:
S - Leanyka from Eger
M - Cuvee from Wachau Valley

Strangest Experience:
S - Being forced to clean out a sink by a large, scary Croatian man in Split, after he started yelling at me about rinsing off my shampoo-covered stuff from my bag, and all the while screaming back at him in English.
M - An impromptu tour of the Snow Globe factory in Vienna by the grandson of the man who invented the snow globe, along with 15 school children, awed by the fact that we were from the states.

Coolest Random Person:
S - Edwin Perzy III, grandson of the snow globe inventor!
M - Rob, James, and Neil - the random British guys who saved us from being lost in the Hungarian countryside

Creepiest Thing that Happened:
S - Waking up at 3 am in our ugly Prague hostel, with my strange bunkmate staring at me
M - The screaming man in the Zagreb train station, demanding to know our Nationality

Dumbest thing done:
S - Waking Mollie up a half dozen times, yelling Where am I? Help me.
M - Not ordering the schnitzel at the best schnitzel restaurant in Vienna and standing around with the rest of the tourists in Prague watching the clock ...that doesn't do anything.

Most Beautiful Scene:
S - View of the Chain Bridge from Margaret Island at night, Budapest
M - Watching the Croatian sunset from the Harbor and Budapest at night

Ugliest Scene:
S - Train ride through Slovakia, despite the sunflower fields
M - The Hungarian countryside

Nicest People:
S - Slovenians
M - Slovenians

Favorite Sight:
S - Basilica of Peter and Paul- Prague Fortress
M - the Budapest train station after being stuck in Eger - relief!!

Biggest Disappointment:
S - It pains me to say it, but the Sacher Torte at the Hotel Sacher...I know these people invented it, but it requires more jam, and that ganache needs help! Start working, people.
M - Berlin. I think it is a better city to actually live in than just to visit.

If I had another 3 days, I would have gone too...
S - Krakow and part of Bosnia
M - Bosnia (just kidding)

Best Experience:
S - Our last night in Budapest- splitting a bottle of Leanyka on the steps of Parliament on the Danube, and walking back at night along the river...which all sounds much more romantic than it was, hahaha.
M - soaking in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and having dinner with Sarah's roommate Jemi and his fiancée, Annette, in Berlin.
