Just in case - like me - you aren't on Facebook, here are some pics of teh big day. It was perfect! And thanks to evryone who sent good wishes to us, much appreciated.

We planned to walk to the church, but heavy showers meant a car was the sensible option. After the service, we were bussed down to the little railway station, where we had champagne and canapes before boarding the train for Welshpool. Then dinner in the Royal Oak, followed by a Ceilidh. Some younger than me stayed up till 3.30, playing the piano and singing, but I got a taxi home. And drove back for breakfast next day, to say goodbye to everyone!

Wedding
Sophie and Tom's wedding day looks absolutely perfect and much fun was had be everyone. Sophie looks gorgeous and the photo of you both together is really lovely Carrie. So glad everything worked to plan although Sophie missed out on trying out her purple wellies on the walk - shame about the rain. Love the brolly though. Can't wait to arrange a skype to hear all about the day from the proud Mama. It's so special seeing your children get married.

How did you do it?
What a big wedding that was? all those people. Thank you for putting all the pictures on the blog. The dresses look beautiful both the bride and the mother of the bride. Alex looks really smart and it was nice to see Uncle Roy and Aunty Gwen all dressed up for the occasion too! The train was a good idea and lucky with the weather too!
