Alex had 4 days off together this week, so instead of taking an extra day's work as he usually does, we decided to drive up to Glasgow on Monday. We left at 5.30 in the morning, taking Maisie with us, and arrived about 11. Its 290 miles, door to door. Here are some pictures to show what we did.

Is beautiful. It is lovely to see some pics of the baby, and Sophie and Tom too. Alex looks as though he is doing a good job there.

Dear Carrie, How lovely to see the baby! The photo of Sophie, Tom and Martha is so lovely although it looks a tad windy on that thar hill! I am sure you give her loads of granny hugs and Alex looks the doting uncle. Thank you for sharing. Please pass on my love to the Cooper family!
