A friend from Londis took 4 of us on a lovely walk up a steep hill, to see the lakes and hear a cuckoo. Well, we saw the lakes, but the cuckoo wasn't around today. Anyway, we had a good walk, though as we hadn't all thought to take a sandwich, we had to come home for lunch.
