We did it. Our house is such a sun trap we decided to turn it into a little power station, so here we are getting solar panels - the kind that generate electricity, not the hot water sort. It is a big outlay, but with the generous feed in tariff introduced recently, it seems like a good investment, as well as being green.

Gosh
who put the scaffolding up. It looks like a big job. How long did it take?

scaffolding went up in about 30 minutes!
and it took a day and a half to do the panels.
