Pre match banter. The boys getting ready for the big game.
Well it was off to Cardiff on Friday night to our home away from home. This weekend was a bit special because not only did we get to see the mighty All Blacks play again but even more special was the chance to see little Jake, John and Kim's first. It is really nice having family so close to us and it does make it easier when we feel a little homesick.

Cardiff was certainly rocking by the time we arrived and there was certainly a sea of black in the capial of Wales. it looked like a lot more kiwi's made the trip to Cardiff this year than last and it certainly made for a great weekend. But first things first, and little Jake took the spotlight. Anna was straight in and if she had her way would have liked to look after Jake and hold him all weekend. He is a beautiful little boy and so well behaved so credit must go to the parents I think. After a good catch up we hit the sack and awoke to another grey day just like last year when the AB's came to town. My Bro and some of his

Anna was quick to get hold of little Jake and didn't want to put him down after that.
mates were also coming down so after a great brunch we left the girls who headed off to do some shopping, as you do and met up with all the gang in the city. Talked to a number of people who had been on the Lions tour which was great and felt very proud to be from NZ. The Welsh are just fantastic and with all the history between the two nations there is only respect for each other and of course lots of freindly banter.

Well the game was great and a great result. I must say, I think I preferred the game last year because it was so tense and the atmosphere was incredible. This game was amazing but certainly lacked the tension of last year. Not complaining though, we were down the end where we scored all the tries. So one down and three to go. As long as we beat the English I will be happy.

The rest of the weekend we spent just chilling with the family which was so nice. Cardiff is our home away from home and John and Kim always look after us amazingly. So that was the end of

Apparently Jake adores Anna and was flirting with her. He is certainly checking her out in this photo.
another great weekend and a massive few weeks for us. I think we actually have some weekends ahead in London coming up so we will enjoy that. Think we need to start our Christmas shopping, but can't believe it is that time of the year again.
