The snow has arrived
Trafalgar Square all ready for the action Well they have been expecting snow in London this winter but it came earlier than expected this year after Trafalgar Square was filled with snow for the Red Bull Rail Storm. Snowboarders from 12 countries battled out for the £32,000 prize and it was certainly another great night out in this great city.
Good friends of ours, Matt and Lyd's invited us to the event which began with free food and drinks at the Hilton on Trafalgar Square. Lyd's got us media passes so a big thanks goes out to her. There is something extra nice about the food and drink when it is free and it is fair to say we took full advantage of what was on offer.
After a nice hour and a half of fine food and drinks we wrapped up in our winter attire and headed into the event. They had closed off the square completely to the public and spent all day filling in the snow and setting up the seating. Amazing to think we were sitting in the heart of the city with Big Ben behind us and the square in front of us filled with thousands of snow boarding enthusiasts and

Hanging at the Hilton and making the most of those free drinks. of course the snow boarders themselves, it was just brilliant.
Some awesone action took place and eventually the Americans took out the prize with Finland finishing a close second and Sweden in third. So another very cool evening, literally it was rather cold so winter has certainly arrived in London. Had a blast with Matt and Lyds and just another one of those cool experiences which continue to make London a fantastic city to live in
