There are 5 buildings around the area, The Baptistry, The Cenotaph, The Mausoleum, Basilica and the Bell Tower.

You can climb up the top again now but we didn't have enough time on the tour.

This is one of the doors of the basilica. They are very ornate and one of the first examples of 3D imagery.

The stone blocks on many of the buildings in Europe were recycled from older buildings. In this photo and the next one you can see a face, these were taken from older buildings and used in these ones.

Some of the recycled blocks were put in upside down. Our guide thought this was because in the period of time when these were built people couldn't read.

This was a statue in Vigo. We thought it was quite funny because it looked like it had fallen over and landed on it's face. It's supposed to be symbolic of a swimmer.
