We heard lots of history today & stopped to see Hadrian's Wall, built in 2nd Century by Roman soldiers. The Lake District is beautiful and filled with sheep. We had lunch @ a country estate where the owners hosted & we saw the house/gardens. William Wordsworth's house (Dove Cottage) was open & it was fun to see where he was inspired to write poetry.
