We got out in the country today & saw lots of sheep on our way to Stirling Castle. They've restored the castle to the time of James VI where only men were allowed in the kitchen to cook!☺️

The afternoon was spent on a boat ride on the Loch Lomond but no sightings of the Loch Ness Monster. Glasgow is packed with athletes ready to compete in the Commonwealth Games starting tomorrow. Unfortunately, the Queen, Prince Charles, & Camilla are in residence @ Holyrood Castle so we're going to miss seeing it. They didn't invite us in for tea when we stopped by.

Cobblestones are tricky walking even in tennies.
