A trip home is good at any time of the year - but especially during the holiday season. The only down side was that I had to leave Mike at home as he was working over Christmas. I found the cheapest flight from Vancouver to London Gatwick which left on December 17th. A year off with no job, kids or mortgage. Just towering backpacks and each other. Where to? Southeast Asia sounds like a good place. But first we'll cross Canada from our home in Vancouver to Halifax. We'll make sure Elli the cat has a nice place to stay. Then it's on to Toronto for Xmas and Glasgow, Scotland for New Year.
