...waiting for a new blog, first of all: get a life.

Second of all: We promise a new one awaits you! You have to understand, though, that life here at Kingswood Hall is really busy, and when a delightful morsel of freedom presents itself, a nap or a beer or just staring into space for an hour is often exactly what the doctor orders.

Also, since we have been in one location for a long time, and because it is a unique and intense environment, I think a retrospective blog will be the most interesting and accurate. If you're dying to know the day-to-day details, I can break it down for you:

1-Wake up, wish it was about five hours later in the day.
2-Lead some students on an excursion or endlessly exciting activities like squash, football
(soccer), tennis, making braided key-chains and necklaces with neon-colored, plastic tubing,
or walking them into our bustling, metropolitan town-center that has 4 shops, a Subway,
and a thrift store.
3-Eat lunch, which enters and exits the body in close succession.
4-Repeat step 2
5-Repeat step 3, except call it dinner
6-Prepare exotic and tempting night-time activities like Karoake, Discos, and talent shows.
Also prepare nose plugs which are required to deal with teenage body odor and
change into Speedo so as not to die from overheating (no AC over here people).
7- At about 10:30, ask what time it is and start counting the minutes until 11.
8- At 11, with much delight, scream at the kids to go to their rooms, and then try to forget
about them.
9- At 11:01, crack a beer in effort to forget about children.
10- 3 am, finally wander to bed, wishing for one night to be smart enough to get a good
nights sleep.

And that about sums it up people.

Luckily for you all, though, Jason and I are both deep and philosophical people, and we have managed to find a deeper meaning behind this absurd way of living. We will gladly fill you in on all of our meaningful reflections at a later date.

There's only 28 minutes until we start counting down the minutes, so I'll be off now.

Take care, and we promise we'll be in touch soon.

All our love,

J&K

Obviously, we have no life....
and so cling, we must, to yours! And yet, just today I traveled afar myself! To beautiful downtown Dade City no less...!! Steaming in the tropics we passed out paper fans proclaiming the value of voting for Jack Day for Circuit Court! And here I thought I had no life...............;-) Thanks for sharing yours!
