March 3rd 2007 After our hike on the Ilkley moors, we took a bus to Skipton. If anyone has watched Calendar Girls before, some of the movie takes place here. :) There was a really well preserved castle here, though I realized I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked (I think I was busy recording it on video...and my dad was playing with his new toy throughout, lol :) [his blackberry, which he got a day before he came to see me]). After the castle we walked around the main streets, and also into a cute shopping area. Then we walked by the canal on our way to the train station, where we caught a train back to Leeds.
