It is the anniversary of America's independence from the British so of course we had to celebrate. Kim put up the American flag; we invited some of the other expats, and fired up the BBQ. Jessica and D'Andre who both work with Kim at Pfizer and are from Michigan joined us in the celebration. Beth was feeling under the weather but her British boyfriend also joined the party. Kim was able to find a local fireworks company that delivered fireworks to the house so it was a true 4th. The BBQ was packed with burgers, dogs, shish kabob and we had baked beans, Cole slaw, potato salad and apple pie. It was a beautiful day and the cold beer tasted great. After our small firework display we ended the evening with the true tradition of Guitar Hero.
