I think I am now as ready for my walk fromLand's End as I ever will be! Cape Cornwall Golf Club have kindly agreed to let me tee off from the first hole to signal the start of my walk although I will have walked six miles from Land's End in a northerly direction!!

Looking forward to the challenge and I am so grateful for all the support Ihave received.

Hi, Thanks for visiting my travel blog. At the age of nearly 66 years I should know better. However I have decided that I am going to walk from Land's End back home to Ramsgate. Please don't ask why!!Starting on 24th June my route will include crossing Dartmoor, the South West Coastal Path, The East Devon Way, The South Downs Way, and part of The North Downs Way - a little over 400 miles in all. I hope to finish at the Belle Vue Tavern in Pegwell on 17th.
