We're gradually getting ourselves prepared for the trip now, starting to pack up the house and finally considering our itinerary in a bit more detail. This Wednesday we went for our first visit to the travel clinic to plan our vaccination programme. We were amazed at how many injections we will need to safely take our trip around the world so we're now preparng ourselves to become human pin cushions. The funniest part of our consultation was the fact the the computer system that's used to work out which jabs we'll need couldn't fit all of our destinations in! We started with a nice bit of rabies and some japanese encephalitis and we're due back next week for another dose. Thankfully neither of us is scared of needles but I had to tell the nurse lady that no way was she putting a plaster on afterwards! Like everyone else, she thinks my phobia is weird!

On another note, it's great to see people starting to subscribe and leaving us messages. We know that these messages will be a great reminder of home when we're out there, having a great time but undoubtedly missing you all heaps! Loads of Love C and M x
