Today we tubed to St Paul's -it's amazing it is still standing as it took two big hits from German bombs during WWII -in spite of 57 days of bombing only a small portion of the cathedral needed restoration. Yesterday, all over the Telly , there were tributes & commemoration services honoring the fallen dead on the 100th anniversary of WWI. From there we crossed over the Millenium Bridge to have dinner at the Swan before attending JULIUS CAESAR at the Globe Theater. We were not crazy about the play but it was fun to be at this theater. We even rented cushions & sat in the galleries just like Elizabeth I did over 400 years ago! Tubed back to our hotel but it was so late we had to ring a bell in order to be let in - we are staying at a small family run hotel in the Belgravia district.

Side note: while flipping through tv channels, there are ongoing pleas for money to help out children living in poverty as well as young African girls who are forced into marriages with older men.

We also see the British version of Deal or No Deal, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, X Factor, Who's Got Talent, etc. They also run old American shows of Archie Bunker & Little House on the Prairie.
