We started out today on a wonderful bus tour of London, which gave us an overview of many places we plan to visit in the coming days. We then got off the bus and went inside Westminster Abbey - it was fun imagining what it must have been like to be a guest there for the Royal Wedding. From there, we visited Churchill's War Rooms - the Cabinet War Rooms & the Churchill Museum. We had lunch at the Banqueting House where King Charles I was beheaded in 1649 - the only British king to be executed. We had fun taking our pictures with The Royal Horseguards who protect the Queen and we are ending our tour tonight with the Ceremony of the Keys and our farewell dinner in the Tower of London. Starting tomorrow we are on our own.....
