Live 8
Greg and Nadia - Make Poverty History! l discovered l've never been to a festival until l spent days sleeping in muddy tents with 20,000 plus people having mud fights in the pouring rain, whilst enjoying the loud tunes of some of the world best bands and DJ music...
UK would have to hold some of the biggest and best festivals since Woodstock. Unfortunately l didn't make the famous Gladstonbury or V festivals however, l have to say the ones l saw gave me the clear picture of this countries passion for music.
One of the best gigs l attended in the UK that will remain in my memory forever was Live 8. l'm not a lucky person when it comes to competitions BUT, my god did l feel like the luckiest person after winning 2 Live 8 tickets....IN THE GOLDEN CIRCLE might l add!
27 Bands, some of the best artist this world has seen in the last 40 years of music history included Sir Elton John, Madonna, Pink Floyd, The Who, Sir Paul McCartney, U2 the list goes on… Of course the second ticket had to go to the one person l know who knows more about music than Willy Wonker does chocolate,
Get Loaded in the Park
Clapham Common Festival the lovely Gregory Bignall. Was a great day, which started at 7am for me, as l also volunteered to work for Action Aid that morning to help set up and promote the organisation. The concert started at 2pm and finished at 12:30am that evening with George Michael, Bob Geldof and all the artists coming back on stage for the big Hey Jude finale - Brilliant!
