Ace Cafe - June 2013

We heard of a meeting at the famous Ace Cafe in support of SERV.
The Cafe is well known to bikers and regularly organises events, meetings and gigs thoughout the year.

SERV - aka Blood Runners - is the charity that John is a member of. Its purpose is to transport blood samples between hospitals at night and weekends in South London and Sussex. Thanks to the volunteering work of the SERV riders, the NHS saves lots of money in delivering urgent blood products.

We had brunch at the Ace Cafe, looked out the other bikes - some vintage and collectors -, chatted to the SERV members and chilled out in the sunshine. A lovely spent Sunday morning.

Nous avons eu vent d'un meeting au fameux Ace Cafe en soutient a SERV.
Le Cafe est tres connu des motards et organise regulierement des evenements tout au long de l'annee.

SERV - aussi surnommee Blood Runners - est l'organisation caritative dont John est membre. Son but est de transporter des produits sanguins entre les hopitaux la nuit ou le weekend dans le sud est de Londres et la region du Sussex. Grace aux motard volontaires de SERV, les services medicaux economisent beaucoup d'argent dans la livraison des produits sanguins urgents.

On a pris le brunch au Cafe, regarder les autres motos - certaines de collection -, discuter avec les membres de SERV et farnienter au soleil. Un bien agreable dimanche matin.
