S Paul's Cathedral I reckon I have climbed over 1000 stairs today and of course as the saying goes... What goes up... must come down!!!
Today we had a nice cruisey morning as we had to check out at 11am. We had another yummy English Breakfast at our hotel then Steve did some things on the laptop while Nicole and I wandered a few blocks from our hotel to find where we are going to be staying next time we are in London.
After re-packing our bags (which I had to pack mine and Nicole's because she couldn't get it all in again!!!) we left them in the reception area and headed back to the underground (we are really good at finding our way around now but for some reason we can never manage to get out of King's Cross Station at the right entrance each time... go figure!).
We went to St Paul's Cathedral today... what an absolutely stunning place! Steve and I weren't going to go in and we were going to meet Nicole outside afterwards but ended up going in and we were in there for over 2 hours! Part of our tour was up in the galleries which were the

View from the top viewing areas up high. It was about 200 stairs to get up to the first gallery then another 200 up to the next gallery and the last gallery where we stood outside on the highest part of the Cathedral was about another 152 steps up... I shook the whole way up and counted every step to get down to the bottom... 540 in total!
When we had finished there we went and had some pizza for lunch (when they serve you the pizza it is not cut up so we had to cut it!)... yummy!!!!!
Jumped back on the Underground and headed for Tower Bridge (New thing I discovered... It is not London Bridge, it is Tower Bridge). We walked along the water to get to it, walked across it so we could say we had done it then went round the corner to London Dungeons. We were running out of time by then so Steve and I are going to go back when we are in London next.
We headed back to our hotel after Tower Bridge and collected our packs then back onto the Underground to Liverpool Street - we had to stand on the train because it

Me up top (pretending to be relaxed) was so busy, that is something else I have discovered, Londoner's are always in a rush no matter what time or day! We then transferred onto a train this time which took us to the Stenaline Ferry. Wow what a HUGE boat! After getting into our rooms we went and explored the boat. We were on Level 10 and all the buzz was happening on Level 9. There was a massive room with a pile of different restaurants and bars, there were pokies, kids room with Curious George, Gaming machine, a movie theatre, shops, more bars and a massive TV screen with 5 different channels (that is where we found out about the Norway bombing and Amy Winehouse being dead). We had a drink then went to bed, Nicole and Steve slept well but I didn't get to sleep until about 5am!
