Jason and Steve in front of the London Eye This morning, after breakfast, we met up with our son's friend- Jason.
We went on a walking tour with Jason as our Guide.. It made it so much easier for us to have someone, who knows London, guiding us around. We saw all the sights, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Tower, The Eye, Tower Bridge and many many more. Jason took us on a short cut and we ended up down some dodgy alley in the backstreets of London. LOL!
We then begged him to stop so as we could give our legs a rest. We found a lovely English pub called 'The Anchor' and had a well earned drink and a tasty lunch.
After lunch, we walked some more......and some more....... and then we caught the Ferry so as we could have a ride on the Thames. The ferry took us all the way to the Barriers and back again.
We then walked back up to Victoria Station and farewelled our fabulous tour guide. It was great to catch up and spend time with Jason and see the sights of London. Thankyou Jason.
We must also thank Nicci for loaning Jason to us for the day.
Sadly, my poor old

Big Ben camera started playing up and would not turn on at all!! I can't imagine why, I think I have only taken 1,500 or so photos!!
We were hoping to catch up with a couple of other friends but we were unable to contact them and we were exhausted in the evenings after our very full days.

How fantastic to have your own personal tour guide!!
You saw so much in one day - more than I have seen in my whole time in England!!
