Said goodbye to Abbie, Gel and Dave at the airport with a few tears. It must be hard for them being just so far from family.

Back in Sydney had a night at the opera house which has to be done. It was a concert with choir and orchestra rather than a full costumed opera and it wasn't really my cup of tea but it was amazing just to be there inside.

On my last day went up to Bondi Beach - it was overcast but still reasonably warm. Watched the surfers and wondered round the shops. Had some great fish and chips and half a watermelon. (a proper watermelon, not a wallaby!)

Next day packed my bags and said goodbye to Australia. It feels like its been a lot longer than 3 weeks in someways but at every stop I've wished I had more time. Still, its nice to leave things undone, in the hope that you'll come back one day.
