Hey all,
It's been a few weeks since the last update, and truth be told we've probably been on the Internet everyday since, but selfishly enough that was all about job/house hunting. The rest of the time has been spent drinking beer and job interviews - a fantastic combination. As homely as Hogan and Jess' lounge floor in Notting Hill is - time to get our own lounge floor.
Speakin of lounge floors - coz the rent is so stupid over here, minjin share-flats have a sh!t habit of converting lounges into rooms, as if some of the places we've seen weren't sh!t enough. This morning we were shown a pretty sweet flat by a NZ chick - I asked, "What shops are nearby?". She replied, "There's a Missive Tisco". And seriously I looked at her, looked at Teresa, and thought - what the fck is that - before I realised she meant the local supermarket.
Oh, Teresa got a Beauty Therapist job within 2 days of arriving here. Worked one full day. Quit the next. Achieved a new record even for her. She's now got 2-3 positions on the go and she'll prob start one next
week. I got a job within a week at a local Digital Media company (website and stuff - PHP5 for the nerdy). Heaps of jobs here (obviously).
