Hello!

We made it to London after a very long flight and took the tube from Heathrow into the city. Due to all the chaos from the bombings, some of the stations were closed including Russell Square so we had to do a little detour, which resulted in us getting completely lost. Maciek and I got out at Goodge Station, apparently very close to our hotel but ended up walking in the wrong direction and it took us 45mins to get there. We finally found our the "lovely" Imperial Hotel, checked in and made our way to the Contiki meeting where we met our tour manager Amanda and our driver Neil.

We wandered around for the rest of the evening and went to Trafalgar square, Leicester square, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and bought some food before heading back to the hotel for a good night's sleep. We will be heading out tomorrow bright and early.
