Rugby game
Gloucester vs. Ospreys I am now happy to say that I am a Rugby Fan. On Friday night we went to see the Gloucester vs. Ospreys (a wales team). I really don't know that much about Rugby or any of the teams for that matter, so I asked about a million questions. Andy, his mate Paul, and Mark were very helpful and patient. We had so much fun. We didn't have seats but were in the standing section behind the goal posts. It was actually better than the seats because there was a ton of atmosphere. Before the game started, Andy and I were in charge of getting more beer. By that time the line for the bar was really long so we decided that we would get six beers, (not six each, but between the three of us) so we wouldn't have to go back again during the game. As we were walking away from the bar, the carrying case I was holding broke and I was covered in beer. They were nice enough to give us a refill on the beers that spilled. When we got back to the place we were standing, it was packed. Once I started to get the

Sorry for the picture quality. We brought a camera, but the battery was at home charging, so we had to use my camera phone. hang of the game, it was great. I spent some time watching Gavin Henson (Charlotte Church's man) He was nice to look at, actually they all were pretty fit and nice to look at. Andy wanted to know where in Wales you can get that tan (Some players had some pretty bad tans.) A man in front suggested Boots (a drugstore). The rest of the game was spent yelling chants, well there is really only one chant with Gloucester. It goes "GloouucesTER". But it is fun, especially when they are winning. After the victorious 26-18 win, we headed down to "THE GATE". It is a bar down the street from the stadium. This would also be the same place we were supposed to meet Andy before the game, but I took it as the gates to the stadium (yup, still blonde) so we ended up having to meet him at Chambers, a different gloucester bar. Anyways, we had a great night out AND I got a kebab at the end of the night for the ride home. Yummy. I did spill a bit in the cab which made me sad. haha
The rest of the weekend was spent recovering
Mark and Andy
Thank you Andy for inviting us!!!!! from Friday night. We went to see American Gangster as it just came out in the theatres here. It was good, a bit violent--I'm glad I had my scarf to cover my eyes from time to time. Now I want to see all the other mob movies that I couldn't sit through when I was younger. Sunday was supposed to be our "sightseeing day" of the weekend. We had planned to go to Stonehenge. We woke up to a cold, dark, rainy, windy day. Not the best for an outdoor attraction. So we decided to work on the house a bit more. I know, we should be done by now. We have the little bedroom set up now and we are pleased to say that the pullout couch will unfold without having to move the computer desk. We only have to move the file cabinet. (I think that will end up in the closet anyways). Mark set up the desktop computer so now I have a good place to skype. Denise and I did spend a lot of time on Skype yesterday, which makes it a lot easier to be away. It felt like I was over at her house
where we stood
The crowd Andy and I had to go through to get back to Mark and Paul. hanging out, well kinda like I was in a box at her house and had to stay in one room the whole time. But it was fun and free!
If you are wondering about our kitchen, it still isn't done. I just spoke to the new Kitchen fitter and he said he won't be able to make it until next week. OH No he didn't. So I have spoken with the company and have demanded another one to be here ASAP. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. At this point I have a sore back from washing dishes in the bathroom, and I am not about to spend more money at the Laundry mat. I am about to rent a saw thingy and do it myself. Probably not the best idea since I just said "saw thingy" and don't actually know the name of the tool I would use. I am looking forward to getting an amazing, almost free bathroom from the store due to their mistakes. I just think I will hire somebody myself to install it.
