Me and Pauly Wauly!
Still can't quite peel myself away from the Pauly!! Well let it be known that here be the final install for Pauly Wauly and Natalie Watalie's year of adverntures! (No no! We don't want any tears.....and we do realise that the suicide attempts may begin soon so we thought we would give you one last travelblog fix!!!!!)
Well after our travels you all know I (Pipesy) went off to France...well I couldn't stay away for long. Back I travelled and Pauly and I were once again reunited (it felt like I hadn't seen him for about six years!) After a bit of reminiscing around the city of Brighton (and a bit of re-catching my bearings......"So....Western Road.....erm......where's that again?") we had the first of our reunions with Tessa and Georgie-of Thailand fame-and Alex aka Sinaed O Connor's mum (Long, strange, non-sensical story that involves Alex, Sinaed and a boot!!) We had a great day and I even went for a paddle in the crystal-clear depths of Brighton water (ahem)!! (I tell you, Brighton is a bit of a Scuba Diving hotspot. Only here can you discover the beauty of the underwater Shopping Trolley or be up close and personal with the empty beer bottles tossed lovingly from the pier or
Home Sweet Home!
Good to be back on Brighton beach with the lovely white sand and sunny weather!!!! (Alex is being Sinaed O Connor's mum..those of you who understand that!) swim around in the...actually I think I'll keep that bit to myself!) Nevertheless we love Brighton and it feels really good to be back, although I'm sure this novelty will well and truly wear off when we actually recommence the bread winning-grrrrrrr!!
So the homecoming party!!!! What a night! This truly was the welcome home to top all welcome homes!! (Thanks everyone!) Most people were there too, with a few exceptions...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! Of course I don't like to name names.....SANTA FE!!!!!! Sorry that slipped out! Blogreaders, can you believe that I travelled the world on a full scale promotion of Santa Fe with Santa Fe's own organic bottle of Del Oro brew-(well...lacking the actual contents as we lost that somewhere on a beach in LA...must have been a hole in it!!!) and not one of the monkeys came out to welcome us back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????? Disgraceful! Honestly-you try explaining being in possession of an empty beer bottle upon arrival at the bamboo hut, that is customs, on the Vietnam border!!!! But hey...at least Tyrone, the General Manager, is going to remember to give me a bottle of Champagne for my troubles...isn't that right Ty?????!!!!! Hmmmmmmm??!!
You may
Pro Piper!!!
Check out that effort!!!!! "Go on Benny try and have a drink!!!" remember the theme....."Come dressed as Paul or Piper". Well I have to say that the prizes have to go to Ben and Noah (friends of mine from Drama School) and Hannah-Noah's gilfriend. You can see from the photos, but just to explain as briefly as I can-which I can't ever seem to do...you may have guessed!!- I survived alot of my Drama School days, consisting of late working nights and early rising journeys into school, with the constant help of Red Bull and Pro Plus...hence the name Pro Piper! So Ben actually came as a box of Pro Piper!!!! Brilliant! Although I don't think he had thought the technicalities of his costume through as drinking his pint proved somewhat tricky!! (As for the "boob steak" barcode....erm....tricky to explain without sounding mental but all you Italia Conti people, that involves Mother Courage rehearsals and Adeen-remember the pin stripe suit??!) Noah and Hannah had Pipesy masks! Yay!! You can always rely on the actors to come up trumps in the fancy dress stakes! Although Tessa did do a mean Piper impression, so some credit to her and Hazel did come dressed in pink...hmmmmm! I suspect that these were after-thoughts!!! (Only kidding you
The Many Guises of Pro Piper!
Ben realises a design error as he tries to sink a pint! And those of you who went to Conti's Drama School....Remember Adeen and "Boob Steak?" haha! guys!)
Anyway afterwards, it was back to Emma's house for more partying. This part involved slightly more wig action! (See photos!) We also manged to spend alot of time serenading people on their way out of the bathroom-Trigger Happy TV style! There was also a performance of Postman Pat sang in the stlye of Elvis on the smallest guitar in Christendom!!!! Oh embrace the maturity!!!!!
The following night...a little worse for wear I had another few reunions as I headed to Crawley for a friend, Chrissy's, wedding. Another great night where I hooked up with my friends Paul (we will call him Frosty so things don't get confusing!) and Derek, my old flatmate. Was great to see you both and Derek, hurry up and move back down!!
Anyway to all who came-thanks so much for the brilliant night. Was really touching. Ben, Noah and Hannah, thanks so much for your efforts too. All those who weren't present-look forward to seeing you really soon. It's good to be back but here starts The Real World. Well..sort of, I'm off on tour so The Real World can wait for me for a bit!!!!!!
To everyone we've met this
The winners of the fancy dress......

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (make sure you all right down to the bottom for all the photos!)
