England played Brazil in a friendly on Friday night. Me and Nic went to the local and grabbed a few ciders and played drinking games during it, adding new rules in for each 5 minutes played. We were drinking for almost everything by the end of the game. I think it was a 1-1 draw but don’t quote me on that.

Saturday I had no cricket so we detoxed by busing into the lakes and climbing up Coniston Old Man. It is quite a distance and took us most of the day to walk up and back down again. We had a competition in the tarn half way up to see who could stand in it for the longest. It was absolutely freezing and Nicola reckons her feet were about to fall off. So I won, meaning Nic shouted icecreams when we got back to Coniston. The sheep on the trek were so camouflaged that you wouldn’t see them unless you actually stopped and tried to spot them. See if you can spot them in the photos.
