12 WEEKS TO GO ... :0)

We have now applied for the Import Permit for the dogs so have to wait another 4 weeks for this to come through. I am really worried about the dogs travelling on the flight as it is so long.

They get checked by a vet at Heathrow just before being loaded on the plane but then no-one checks them until they hit Singapore approx 14 hours later where they are quickly looked at and their water refilled .. then they are back on the second flight to Perth which thankfully isn't that long (approx 5 hours).

We have checked the quarantine station in Perth and it looks really nice so once they are there I know they will be looked after .. it's just the flight that bothers me ;0(

We both have 7 weeks left at work and we move out of the house the same time. As we have had trouble getting the dogs into the quarantine station it looks like we will be leaving the UK the first week in Nov (fingers crossed!).

So when we leave work we will have about 6 weeks of waiting!!

Haven't had 6 weeks off since I was at college so not too sure what we will do (I give Doug 3 days before he starts getting bored!!) we may actually get the tent out and go camping! We have never not worked so it will be a strange time for us both I think.

At least it will give us time to say goodbye properly to our friends and family as it gets nearer we have begun to realise how much we will miss them.
