What a lovely day out we had in Cambridge! I swear i got brainier just from walking through all of those old prestigious colleges. Fave activity was punting down the river / canal in a canoe like boat, much like the ones in Venice. We decided to opt out of the DIY punt, and got Sam, a friendly (but weedy) creative writing major to do it for us instead. He worked the pole like a pro, and he said he'd only been doing it for 2 weeks! Impressed.. He even gave us a running commentary on the history of the colleges - the drama, intrigue, wealth and the politics of a time gone by. Like Henry the V times people! ollllllldddddd school. I tried to remember some facts so i could add it to my sweet blog, however all i can really remember is a dude falling in the river - something we had been waiting for the whole ride - it was seriously like water dodgems, but posh as. Loved it! x
