Sorry I haven't updated this for a while, but posting about my preparation is a bit boring isn't it?

I leave tomorrow! I feel nervous but excited of course and I'm rushing to get everything done. The whole last week has been spent trying to sort out everything I need, with a short break for my grandparent's anniversary last weekend.

Just an update really, 'cause I have things to do. See you in LA!

Hello. I'm mostly setting up this journal so people can read about my "Big Gap Year Round The World Trip Thing" which everyone I know is probably bored of me talking about. I'm about 18 years old and I've always wanted to travel and, now that I have a big space in my life where I can get out of my dull English hometown, I've decided to actually do something about it.
