Magnificent Lauterbrunen

Had our first real dissapointment for the trip today....we had to leave Lauterbrunen.

We left Bern for Lauterbrunen about 5:20 last night and the drive from Bern to Lauterbruunen was where the real pretty stuff started. All the travel brouchers and pictures you see of Switzerland, they come from here.

As soon as we got into Jungfrau camping ground we dumped our bags at the little cabin we were assigned and headed for a trek up to one of the waterfalls. Absolutley amazing, breathtaking, picturesque yadda yadda yadda you get the point, hopefully some of my photos come close to doing it justice, although i doubt it very much.

The only thing that ruined it was the drunk bogan on the bus from Bern to Jungfrau. No wonder Aussies get a bad name on the traveling circuit.

We got up early this morning to take another walk around and take in some more of the beautiful fresh crisp mountain air then on the bus of off to Lake Como, then into Nice.
