Trip so FarTrip so Far
Matthew Feben Stockholm was a very good chance for us to relax a little after a mega fast pace we had set in london.
We didnt really do a whole lot while we were in Stockholm, but it was a very nice place just to walk around and to be in. I particually enjoyed walking through 'Gamla Stan' - The Old Town. Lots of cool buildings n stuff to see. Stockholm as lots of little canals and river that flow throughout the city, aparentaly the Stockholm is known as the Venice of the north.
We decided to do a canal tour which we were entitled to with our Stockholm card, that got us onto all public transport and all tourist attraction. The Canal Tour was very beautiful as it was nice day and was a very good way to see the city.
We also had a walk through the Royal apartments as well as having a tour through the beautiful city hall.
Leaving Stockholm was also the first opportunity for us to use our eurail pass and experience the train system in europe. Everything ran smoothly. Although Stockholm is a relatively expensive place to visit i would definately
reccommend it.
