Our walk around Morella showed us that it very different from Albarracin. It has wider streets in a more ordered pattern and is dominated by its castle which sits on top of craggy hill and must have made defending it fairly easy. After a stroll along the main shopping street we visited the attractive Basilica and then made the steep climb up to the castle. Lunch today was a three course affair of typical food of the area served by a very genial host who kept plying us with local drinks as well. After this we were pleased to be able to walk around the walls and manage the 1k route back to the van.
