Tapes!

What are these famous TAPES? I asked myself the same question when I got here to Spain since in every restaurant you would see them. I remember talking to a lady I met on the train and she had mentioned that I had to try the tapes from here so I finally went in into a restaurant and tried some the other day. They are like an appetizer or a small portion of food that you can enjoy with a beer, wine, or any drink. You can find them anywhere the ones I tried were delicious. I tried two with seafood, one was octopus with potatoes and the other was stuffed crab. I see a lot of people go out as a group of friends or family and just drink and order tapes. I have noticed that in most restaurants they do not have any hot salsas or spicy food I was mentioned that the people here don't like it. I was a little bummed out since i enjoy eating spicy food.
