Our room on the Carnival Splendor
see Towel Monkey hanging from ceiling? After blogging, Ken was still in the cigar bar talking politics with a group of guys so I went to the casino to spend my $20. That's all I ever waste. I got a mango daiquiri. The $20 lasted about 10 minutes, not as long as the drink.
We went back for a nap, I could not sleep. We got ready for dinner, but first happy hour at Minnie and Jack's. Annie and Henna decided to do laundry. It was crowded and a long wait to get a washer so Annie brought a bottle of wine. There were 3 other ladies there and she offered them some wine. They said they did not drink. I guess it got so boring or something but one lady asked if she could have some; she asked Annie: it's the same as the wine served at communion, to represent the blood of Jesus? Annie said of course! So now the lady has changed her whole moral standards, never drinking wine before because of Annie!
After dinner we went to the show; good singers. Bedtime at 10PM, could not sleep. Our oldest son Justen called us at 4:30 AM, he forgot we were on the trip;
He told Ken to tell me he loved me. Count your blessings for small things. 😊
I will catch you up some more tomorrow. It's been a busy 2 days. Time for dinner-a very social hour!
