The past two days and over 30 miles have been difficult but very blesed ones. We left St. Jean at 7:30am to cross the Pyrenees to Roncevalles. We arrived 8 hours later after sloggy thru drastic uphill and downhills, pouring rain, sleet, blasting wind and life sucking mud. Today we headed out for Zubiri with the sun today, but still climbs and decents, but this time extremely soar muscles from the day before. Today we walked almost the same distance but in 5 hours! Sooo many trials and so many blessings, but insufficient time to share here as I have to get to the hostel before the doors close for the night. I was blessed by new friends new friends from all over the world, amazing scenery, and great walks and talks with God! Also the unloading of burdens, a beautiful mass in an ancient church, great food, and new insights. Here are a few pictorial updates. Picutres would not load n I have to go - later!

Go with God and may your eyes be open to the daily miralces that unfold all around you even in the hardest of times!

Brave Lady
You are one plucky lady - venturing over mountains and unfamiliar terrain. I admire you! Nehemiah 8:10 says "The joy of the Lord is our strength and stronghold." (Amp) It is one of my favorite scriptures. Psalm 5:12 says that God surrounds his children with favor as with a shield. I will pray that wherever you go, God's favor will surround you, go before and protect you. Be blessed! Donna

No, sorry I didn't. But no matter--It is so fun meeting, traveling and working with and knowing people like you. I admire your adventuresome spirit. Blessings
