in a pokey internet cafe i write these words....tonight i travel..down the east coast to LA Costa Blanca..by bus...hope there´s plenty leg room..the back of my thighs are killing from plane ride from athens..wonder if deep vein thrombosis is a bout to kick in...
as mentioned going to work on my graphic novel..also going to practise on the guitar in the vain hope that it will help pay my way around the world...winter months in Spain it´s cold but bright just bought a pair of gloves, fantastic fingerless-mitten combination..a very warm hat and a travelling chess set..another plan of mine to make it around the world hoping strangers will cough up 2 euro for a game of chess...and when i can play properly hussle the bejesus out of unsuspecting tourists...
bus leaves at 11.30 pm. next stop Torrevieja...cultural backwater, at least it´s quiet...
saw a submarine made of wood made in 1897 and thought about a future living a Captain Nemo´like existence..

came up with a grand scheme for a travelling personal website...will ponder before unleashing on an unsuspecting audience...

hassled two days in a row (drinking a most excellent chocolate) at a cafe by a gypsy woman trying to sell lighters...gave her a bit change in case she gave me the hex...

thought for the week..
where´s theres a will there´s a way...´ seen written on a stand by one of those crazies who stand around all day on las ramblas looking like a vampire..
made important notes on life for a future philoòphical book that i may or may not right called the natural order of things.
1. Find a way (any way..as long as it´s a way to survive..) noted gypsy woman survives begging and selling lighters...concluded that my way is this...writing graphic novels, playing the guitar (for cash), playing chess (hopefully for cash) and embarking on a kung fu odyssey...
2. staying open to new opportunity´s for travel, for friendship, love, work yadayada(after leaving greece and finding 2500 meters of textile belonging to the old man ´Coco´who used toi live opposite our house in GReece whose house has stood empty for years....if my dad does one thing in this world..it´s spot opportunitys...)
3. perfecting a skill..see point 1.. re graphic novelling, kung fu..chess and the guitar..

over..

Keep up the good work Couz!
Hi Abe, Great stuff...raised more than a few smiles!! ha ha You remind me of that American food show host Anthony Bourdain..who looks a bit like Couz Mark!! I see you in his shoes observing the less obvious side of life with wit and repertoire!! Will I see you at Christmas?? Dom

Consolidate your goals
Sounds like you have a lot of goals there matey … maybe too many … how about some consolidation? I don’t believe Chess has been covered in graphical novel format for example…
