Hi Guys! This is just a little rundown on what we did in ibiza. I've tried to keep it short and sweet cause I think the pictures sum it up pretty well! So here goes:
On Friday 29th July, Myself, Emma, Alesha, Jess and Lucy headed off on our 6.55pm flight to Ibiza. On arrival (around 11pm) we grabbed some burgers whilst waiting for our key to our Apartment. When we walked in we were all ecstatic to see the size of the balcony, not to mention the location on the beach and the fact that it had two bathrooms as well! We had a few drinks, got ready and headed out to our first club 'Amnesia' to see '2 many DJs' who were absoutely awesome! We were all on such a high on arrival so no doubt it was going to be a good night! We walked out into broad daylight and headed straight to the beach to nurse our hangovers.
Saturday the 30th - After a baguette for lunch and lots of rest we had an average Dinner on the main street in Ibiza Town of Squid Rings, Boiled frozen Vegetables and Chips. We headed back to
Jess, Lucy, Me, Emma
Outside our apartment our apartment for a few more drinks and then Emma and I decided to hit the town again and left the others to rest. It didn't take us long to decide we were keen for another club night so we picked up some tickets to 'Space' a club only 200m from where we were staying and stayed out again until the wee hours. Space was awesome and they had all sorts of performances from lit up Robots walking through the crowds, over the top Transvestites and Acrobats hanging from the ceiling. Highlight was seeing David Guetta in the crowd and as he walked past Emma grabbed him by the arm and asked him his name and we asked to get a photo with him, which we both did! At the end of the night we didn't want the night to end so headed to the local 'Irish Bar' and made friends with some essex boys (it was like they were straight off the set of 'The Only Way is Essex' with their big muscles and big smiles and partied away till the sun came up!
Sunday the 31st - After a big sleep I went for a walk out
to the Castle which was at one end of the beach then met up with the girls at our fav sunbathing spot not far from our apartment on Bora Bora beach. We recovered for a bit then had some more drinks and a bit of a clean up and then headed off to another restaurant on the main strip that a few people (promoters etc) had recommended. We were pretty excited at the sight of the meals (kebabs, steak, monkfish) but disappointed by the end which was a shame! After our meal we went to our fav cocktail bar 'Crystal' on the beach for Red Wine and Cocktails before heading to bed. Tonight was Lucy's night and she decided to hit the town without us, she had a ball too, making some spanish friends and partying the night away! It's a shame we were all so out of sync!!
Monday the 1st - Today we hired a Rental Car and headed out to Calla Bassa Beach, a 15 minute drive from San Antonio where we spent the morning sunbathing and swimming. Such a beautiful beach! After lunch we drove around to Cala Conta where we sunbathed more then had
salads for Dinner at one of the 3 restaurants that overlook the gorgeous coastline. From here we headed back, dropped the car off and got ready to see Swedish House Mafia at Pacha. We managed to find a taxi driver to take the 5 of us and he also kindly picked us up again at the end of the night. Was an awesome night and SHM were great although I personally wasn't so mad on the Pacha set up.
Tuesday the 2nd - Another day spent relaxing on the beach after a morning walk around the shops although today it was so hot we decided to hire loungers and an umbrella so we could get some proper rest (we ended up doing this the following day as well!) I also spent today trying to call my boss to ask if I could extend my flights to Saturday (which is when the others were leaving) but sadly I was told 'no' as Felix had a broken leg (which turned out not to be broken grrr!!). That afternoon we polished off a few bottles of wine then had amazing food at 'Crystal' -our local on the beach near our apartment. Home
to bed after attempting to drink at the irish bar but it just didn't happen!
Wednesday the 3rd - Had a lovely last day on the beach, and Dinner at another yummy place I can't remember the name of before heading off in the taxi home to London. Was a bit of an anti climax coming back. As if it wasn't hard enough saying goodbye to all the girls who I knew had another few days in amazing ibiza up their sleeve I got into Gatwick at 3am then had to pay £106 for a taxi!! I was home by 4.30am and up for work at 7.30am. I did attempt to detox over the weekend but the weather was absolutely stunning so that kind of went out the window but I was basically just trying to avoid the reality of the post holiday blues!! Ibiza was definately up there with one of the best holidays i've had, I just wish i'd discovered it four years ago so I could go back every year!
The people were all so friendly not to mention absolutely gorgeous to look at! the beaches were beautiful, awesome clubs, great company and if it
weren't for the club entry and drinks (£65 for 3 red bull and vodka!!) then it wouldn't be all that expensive. I'd pay it all again in a second anyway.
Ok peeps on that note i'll love and leave you, until next time Me despido!
