What can I say? Castell de Ferro is my home town here on the Costa Tropical, 20 kms east of Motril. Refreshed by the Mediterranean Sea in the spanish province of Granada, Andalusia. Wedged between Las Alpujarras, the foothills of the massive Sierra Nevada mountain range and the deep blue sea Castell de Ferro boasts a clean pebbly beach of over one kilometre in length nestling up to the main square, separated only by the secondary road that passes through the village. Within the municipal boundaries there are innumerable coves, inlets and smaller beaches, some of which reached by negotiating deep escarpments and visible only from the sea.
