Back to school for the last week of classes. Weird that I´ll be leaving Sevilla in less than 2 weeks. This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday we woke up early and met at the train station at 8am. Me, Beth, kelly, Sam and Brock rented a car for the weekend to drive 3 hours to Cazorla which is North East of Sevilla. The drive was pretty smooth with a few detours in some little towns... but we ended up making it to the lodge early afternoon. We went there with the intention of renting a tent for the weekend because Beth has a travel Andalucia book that has this place in it that said we could rent tents. Well, aparently... they didn´t. So... we ended up getting a cabin for the weekend, which was the best decision we could´ve made. The cabin was amazing. It had heat, a kitchen with a stove and fridge, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.. so we weren´t exactly roughing it. Friday afternoon we decided to hike around near our cabin, which was surrounded by mountains. It was kind of cold and rainy... but still really fun. That night we hung out

About to go swimming.. the water was freeeezing!
and played games in the cabin and went into the lodge for a bit to get some food... (since we were planning on camping ... we didn´t bring the best selection of food.. so all of us were craving warm food... it was delicious.) On Saturday we woke up early and drove about 20 minutes away where there is a well known hiking path through the mountains. IT WAS AWESOME. I will put up pictures soon... but it was beautiful. The day was perfect for hiking... not too hot and not too cold. We brought stuff to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch on the trail. yum. Sam and I decided to go swimming at one point. The water was freeeezing! The path we went on was really cool.. it brought us near all these cool waterfalls and up a huge mountain and through some tunnels in the mountain and we saw a ton of moutain goats.. and more. The hike ended up taking about 8 hours. The next day we were all pretty sore. We left the cabin early afternoon on Sunday after making hotdogs for lunch.. and stopped in Córdoba quick on the way home. It was a really fun weekend.. we got home about 8 and we were exhausted.
