Took a drive on Sunday (most of the local businesses and even some restaurants around here are shut down on Sundays) into the countryside to look over the communities of Farstad, Stavik and Hustad. We were walking in the Hustad Cemetary and Warren overheard two couples talking in English (not too common over here) and they mentioned the name Farstad. Warren went up to them and introduced himself and found they were from Sisseton, S.D. (a short distance from Warren's hometown of Roslyn, S.D.). They were Jane Torness Rasmussen, her husband John and their son and daughter-in-law. Jane is a distant relative of Warren on the Hustad side (his grandmother Serena was the sister of Jane's great-grandmother)). What an unbelievable coincidence to run into them in a cemetary in Norway - they were on their way from Kristiansund to Molde to visit some Farstad relatives.
