Fun Forest
me one this obstacle where you had to walk over a huge rubber bandHi, this weekend we were thinking of going to Belgium or Germany, but instead we stayed home. As a treat Mum said that we could go to this place called Fun Forest yesterday.
Fun Forest has been here for only about 5 months and is this huge high ropes place in the Amsterdam forest. When we were getting our gear on we had our own rivet interpreter because the instructor spoke in dutch. It has 7 different courses each with about 15 different obstacles. It is set amongst all these really tall trees and each obstacle goes from tree to tree. It included wires to walk over, flying foxes and steps of logs attached with ropes. You are up really high in the tree tops so you have a harness and safety cables that you attach to wires to keep you safe. The photos show what I mean!
My favourute obstacle was this one where you have to walk over these blocks that spin around when you step one them. I have never seen anything like it before and I think it would be a HUGE success if they were to build one in Australia.
We had a great
time yesterday and it was my favourite day yet on this holiday.

Hi guys! How's it been in the EU? Im SOOOOOO jealous! Is it as fun as they say it is? Are all the canals confusing? I read a book once (this statement is true!), and they were in Amsterdam, and they got directions from a guy who said: Go along the canal. Turn left at the canal. Continue until you see a canal. And it's on the canal. Sheesh! I wouldn't be asking for directions from a dutchman! Haha. See you in how long? Ned PS. Eddie came to school on the 14th Sep. Including school clothes. Tee-hee! PPS.
