In Italy they are expected to go to school for 10.1 years. Italy is developed country. It is developing because it is ranked number 25 for HDI. If Italy was ranked in the top ten, then maybe It would be considered a advanced country. Another reason Italy is a developing country is because of the number of years people are expected to go to school; the number of years is very low. The last reason Italy is a developing country is because of the income rate. The income rate is very low compared to the United States.
